About Helping Mamas:Â
Helping Mamas, a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 2014 by two moms who are also social workers and nonprofit professionals. Helping Mamas Knoxville is a sister agency that launched in November of 2018.
Motherhood is one of the greatest blessings and biggest challenges any woman faces. Being a mother is tough, even with supportive families and plentiful resources. We were overwhelmed thinking of what it would be like in the absence of that support. One thing we did know: all moms love their babies like we love ours and want the best for them. Out of this passion for service and motherhood, Helping Mamas was formed. We connect agencies that serve families in need with baby supplies.
